The son of a minister, Pastor Henwood is a 1988 graduate of Canaan Christian Academy, the church’s Christian school. He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University. Since then, he has ministered with churches in Utah, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania. Most recently he was at Finch Hill Baptist Church, in Greenfield Township, where he was the pastor for twelve years. He and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter. In addition to his pastorate at Finch Hill Baptist, Henwood also taught Bible at Canaan Christian Academy.
