About Pastor Dave Crispell
In 1962, at age fifteen, Pastor Crispell accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour at a Bible Conference/Camp in Northeast PA. The next day Dave felt God calling him to prepare for and enter the ministry. As a young man Dave served in several areas of his local church in the youth ministry. After Bible training he started the pastoral ministry full-time and has pastored for more than thirty years.
During past twenty years he has been involved in evangelism/revival ministry in numerous local churches. Dave taught for six years at Central Jersey Bible Institute in Bordentown, NJ. He has also carried on a busy prison ministry in county, state and federal facilities with his "As Free As You Want to Be Seminar" and as a volunteer on the revival team with the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry. In addition to this, Dave has traveled to several countries teaching in Bible Institutes and Colleges training national Christian leaders. He has developed several courses for training national Christian leader, and has authored two books.
Dave has also been a missionary pilot for over thirty years logging 5,000 hours of flying. He has been ministering in Alaska for the past eight years in the summer months. Most recently he spent a month in Haiti flying relief and medical and ministry personnel in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Pastor Crispell has had an ongoing academic experience after graduating from Central Jersey Bible Institute with advanced training at Baptist Bible College, Christian Counseling and Education Foundation, Biblical Seminary and Liberty University. He enjoys hiking and rappelling. At 62, Dave is not retired but 're-fired' and active in serving his Lord. He praises the Lord for good health, which enables him to continue to serve as the Lord calls.
Dave and his wife, Pat, have four grown children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
