Primary children have a more advanced set of skills and are capable of a higher level of learning and understanding. Junior Girls and Boys ministries nursery 3 have special needs as pre-teens. Sunday School for this group focuses on laying the groundwork for building a lifelong relationship with God and learning from the Bible how God and His Word meet our needs as we grow and develop. Using the Bible, this group learns that God is their friend and can be trusted to help them be better individuals.

Lighthouse Kids

Lighthouse Kids Each Sunday night from September through May, children ages 3 through the 6th grade meet for Lighthouse Kids - a unique club for children. Meetings are Sundays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Greeters are on hand each week to welcome children and answer questions for parents.

The program is free, and there are no dues, uniforms or books to purchase.

The foundation of the program is the Bible - teaching children Biblical principles through age-appropriate Bible study, memorization of scripture and fun activities. Children earn points in several areas of the program, including memorization of verses, participation in activities, and bringing new friends to the club. Every other month, a "store" is open where children redeem their award points for small toys, books and other fun merchandise.

Each week a special theme is planned. "Beach Night", "Pajama Night", "Weird Hair Night", and "Patriotic Night" are just a few. There are games, snacks, action-packed activities, singing, and more. Special Speakers are also scheduled.

Children from the area are welcome. There is no cost. For more information contact the church office at 570-937-4848.
