Before our ministry now lies a significant land opportunity for the future of Kerala Baptist Bible College. For many years we have been in prayer for the expansion of the college. For this, another piece of property was needed because we have stretched the use of the present campus and facilities with our current property. But it was important for us to find a plot adjacent to the college property so that we can use the present buildings. A few months ago, surprisingly to us, a man came and told us about his property that he wants to sell. It is not an adjacent piece of land, but less than 500’ from the college and on the same small road. Through discussions with Board Members it was determined that this land and opportunity should be pursued. We made a down payment from our land fund and signed a contract. As of today, we have raised more than half of what we need to pay this off. We need $55,000 yet to complete this transaction. Land is a significant investment in Kerala and not easy to purchase in our area. The location and size of this piece of land would allow us to build more dorms, a permanent dining hall and kitchen, chapel and more classrooms.
