What We Believe; Our Vision; Our Leadership
What We Believe
We are an independent, Bible-preaching church.
We believe...
-
The Bible (all 66 books) is the inspired Word of God and is our authority in faith, life, and church practice.
-
That God exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
-
That all men are separated from God by their sin.
-
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.
-
That personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior is the only way to forgiveness of sin and salvation to eternal life.
-
In the personal presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every born-again Christian.
-
In the personal, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for all who trust in Him.
Our Vision
Canaan Bible Chapel exists to help others to...
- KNOW Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, through salvation.
- GROW in their relationship with Christ, through an individual walk with God and corporate worship and fellowship.
- GO for Jesus Christ, through service.
