Canaan Christian Academy
Founded in 1978, Canaan Christian Academy - by the grace of God - has ministered to hundreds of Christian families in this region. Through the leadership of Daniel Baker, the pastor at the time, and supported by the deacons and congregation of Canaan Bible Chapel, the new, daily, educational ministry became a reality and has continued.
CCA opened its doors for the first time to 68 students in grades K5 through 12. The first senior class graduated in 1979 with one student. In the years that have followed CCA has graduated over two hundred students. Current enrollment averages 170 K4 through 12th grade students.
It is our purpose and our privilege to educate the whole child: mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Each subject is taught with God's Word and purposes in mind. Parents, teachers, and administration work hard at achieving academic excellence in a spiritual atmosphere through well-rounded, balanced Christian education curricula that includes rigorous academics, character-building athletics, and a strong, conservative music program.
